There has apparently been an earthquake, magnitude 6.9, in Baja. We're
nowhere near yet, but we'll be down there in a few days. Let's hope
the damage isn't too severe. Good thing we have bikes capable of some
off-roading, in case the roads have been shaken up.
One day before we go. Plans are falling into place. Brett is
discovering that a motorcycle is not an SUV, and he can't bring the
kitchen sink. My bags are pretty well packed, and they are kitchen
sink-free. Bus to Vancouver tomorrow, then the Easter lines at the
border. Lots of variables out of our control, but the long road
awaits.
Can't wait.
It hit us hard here.. it was fun and scary at the same time... hopefully everything will die down before you get there. Baja is being hit with lots of earthquakes. Looking forward to seeing you.
